Managing design systems through design tokens / bulk variable management is going to be one of the major benefits of using AI in design.
I am 99% certain that this workflow will be how most design teams function in the next few years.

the animations they had by moving between the difference variable modes type variants looked crazy good. stuff like that may even be somewhat replicable in keynote/PowerPoint just by animating between families.
looking forward to dabble with it
You know that annoying experience on mobile websites where you need to find the little close button and can't swipe a menu closed?
The solution is simpler than you think.
With basic CSS scroll APIs, you can get built-in interruptible swipe gestures 🥳

this game looks so unbelievably good. i hate car culture, and this feels 100% satire.
when the bulldozers came out, the trees demolished, and the oil refineries plopped down, couldn't help but lol.

The design industry needs more leadership styles. Work with your strengths, not against them.
Your team needs the best version of you, not someone else.
What's your experience with different leadership approaches?

"Why is quality so rare?" is a question that designers ask every day. Pretty thorough blog on the subject, and a few interesting takeaways.
What are your thoughts on why quality (in software, in services, in most businesses today) is so increasingly rare?

Is there a *single* company that has offered a similar service to an industry and made it profitable with AI?
Not growing. Made profit. Actual, real life money.
I'll wait
Oh, all AI companies are unprofitable and burning through cash at an unprecedented rate? lol

Agreed! There's still a powerful early design phase I usually call co-design, where I like to get designers/PMs/whomever in a room/meeting, dragging out components, playing around with layouts, highly experimental.
You're just playing with pre-built pieces rather than inventing things from scratch
In other news, since @jessicahische.bsky.social did mention FIDLAR.

Consider putting the videos or at least a link to YouTube on the site, had no idea there even were videos until the Jessica episode (she mentioned jumping off camera).
Definite value add!
i feel like a lot of folks are starting there and putting in the (absolutely insane amount of) work it takes a ton to get out of it
i'm still on that phase
