This isn’t really that crazy from what they’ve been doing over the past 6 years or so. They typically only do general directs now when there are multiple new games to announce within the next few months. When there isn’t, the games that are already known get release date trailers

So Grace Ashcroft ended up falling in love with my main oc on my island, and they’re together now. Marceline from Adventure Time tried to get him to like her as well
Okay, this is crazy

Hinako from Silent Hill f would want him dead lol
For those who don’t know the context, Ryota is a 22 year old who gets together with this girl Himiko. She 15 years old and has horrible trauma caused by some other older men to put it lightly. Maybe that’s why Btooom only had one season
“No way! It’s Ryōta Sakamoto from Btooom!”
“She was 17, Scott!”
“She was 15, Ryōta!”
It's a miracle the game even exists when you think about it. It would've been so easy for Nintendo to make Sakurai work on Smash 6 right after Ultimate's DLC ended and release it for the launch year or this year, but they instead allowed him to make a Kirby Air Ride sequel for the launch year
Request on the other site for a Hummer Guy version
One of the best and most charming 3D platformers outside of indies. This game alone is able to hold me off for a few years before the next 3D Mario with how much it feels like an Odyssey successor
“Woah it’s Byleth from Fire Emblem Three Houses!”
“She was 17 Scott.”
“Oh come on! You get together with one of your students in most playthroughs!”
“Only after the time skip. Now allow me to demonstrate!”

Nintendo also relies a lot more on exclusives to sell their consoles, thus Tomodachi Life LtD and Rhythm Heaven Groove are most likely the last new Switch 1 exclusives
Yeah Nintendo’s consoles being weaker than the competition makes Nintendo more willing to move on as quickly. Like the Switch 1 was already weaker than the PS4 and Xbox One, and now with most games fully transitioned to the 9th gen, and upgrade was needed to keep up with 3rd parties
That makes sense. The cross-gen period makes it not as necessary to buy the new console when most games are still available on the older consoles, and the next cross-gen period could last longer
Super Metroid, FE Genealogy, and Kid Icarus Uprising
Like I already don’t see myself buying a PS6 within the first 2 years as most 3rd parties and even Sony’s big 1st parties are cross-gen. This price staying the same or increasing after those years might make me not get the console at all, especially if the cross-gen period is longer
I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the cross-gen period lasts longer than the one for the early PS5 years. Not because of the jump in technology not being as big, but because of less people buying the PS6 as early from this price, and thus more big games in the PS6’s 3rd-5th year become cross-gen

A 2D Metroid is definitely plausible since later this year will be 5 years since Dread. Either Metroid 6 or a Super Metroid Remake if they don't want to release two new mainline Metroid games within a year
I mean, Paper Mario could still happen in 2027 due to the last Paper Mario game being a remake, but it’s a bit hard to say for certain
I could see Luigi’s Mansion 4 for October, while Ocarina of Time and one other game would be in November, which I’m predicting will be Mario Maker 3. That’s 3 big sellers in one holiday season that would essentially take 3D Mario’s place, as 3D Mario could get away with being the sole holiday seller
And yeah Xenoblade 4 could be pushed to 2028 or even 2029 if the new Ip is first, and/or Xenoblade 2 Definitive Edition which Nate mentioned being possible for this year
I think Luigi's Mansion 4 could be this year as the big holiday seller alongside Ocarina of Time Remake, while Paper Mario and Mario Party release in 2028, Paper Mario always releasing games every 4 years and Mario Party possibly being pushed back a year due to the Jamboree Switch 2 expansion
I always believe Star Fox could come back. They just needed to find the right developers and just handle the Ip better
Going back to this, I guess you can replace Zelda with Pokemon. 3D Mario and Kirby would still be here, and maybe Xenoblade 4 will too, unless it gets pushed back to 2028 if a Xenoblade 2 Definitive Edition really is happening this year or so
I'm getting the same thing. I just turned 24 and have had my YouTube account for 9 and a half years, yet this has been appearing on my account
Yes!
Resident Evil Biohazard (this isn’t meant as a jab at the game. More that the game is a horror story itself)
Thanks
