The answer from @uklabour.bsky.social to the crisis in the justice system is wrong headed. Remarkable that an 800 year old right to jury trial would be sacrificed when proper investment would be a much better solution for the long term good of the country.
Wouldn’t normally share Torygraph but they have a point about political expediency triumphing over principles.
How can we abolish jury trials when the evidence says we will be damaging the justice system?
