Why IDE matters:
Despite the growth of mainstream inclusion, there's limited research on how deaf pupils experience interpreter-mediated classrooms.
We're gathering insights from pupils, teachers, interpreters & families to fill that evidence gap.

Year one milestones:
✅ Consortium meeting in Dublin
✅ Advisory committees in all three countries
✅ Launched multilingual website (ide-project.eu)
✅ Ethics approvals secured
✅ Data collection started in Norwegian schools
✅ Materials created for parents & schools
