Can’t wait to get rid of the SoundId Reference system-wide plugin. Nothing but trouble with it for the past couple of years.

I am hoping a hardware box willl bring more stability to the system.

Maybe OT: If anyone interested and stay few days before/after the conference we could do a climbing trip :) 🧗There a ton of climbing areas close by, thousands well-bolted sport routes.

El Chorro for example - also a great place to go for a hike or to see the famous Caminito Del Rey ✨

After a whole day inside, I went outdoors only to find out that my street had turned into a winter post-apocalyptic scene. Got scared for a moment :D

The snow is artificial.

Hey bksy, I’m on the look out for my next project, I’m an experienced Elixir dev (> 8 years commercially, and > 10 years of Ruby before that + I'm still the maintainer of RSpec), very familiar with Phoenix and LiveView, and have enough CSS / JS knowledge to approach projects from a full stack angle.

I slept on a boat while in Berlin for the #ElixirLang meetup.

Had a cheeky companion outside of my window when I woke up 🦢

I guess it didn’t like my morning hair haha (based on the judgy look) 👀

Today was my first clean 6c+ / 7a (UIAA 8) after almost two years from the first one.

Super happy about it 🎉 🧗It made my day 🥹

Sponsoring Hanami | Mike Perham Ruby, OSS and the Internet

I'm happy to announce a major sponsorship of Hanami and @timriley.info. I want to see more useful frameworks and tools for building Ruby apps and I don't know of a better option today than Hanami. 🌸

Thank you for everything! ❤️

After years of working with RoR I was not happy with the state of things (the Rails way), I started looking into alternatives in 2018.

dry-rb and ROM played an important role in showing me the FP approach and it ended up with me moving to Elixir.

You opened that door
