look at the good things youâve got left, and make a new plan. This party isnât over yet; regroup, indulge in some mental flexibility, and realize that things really will be okay.
The small altar is in front of a cloth background showing stylized purple and white flowers. On the altar is a black and gold cloth. At the back of the altar is a soapstone plate holding a small stone goddess statue and a lit resin incense burner. To the left is a chunk of amethyst, to the right is a deck of tarot cards, and directly in front of the soapstone plate is a three inch selenite wand. In front of these items are three tarot cards.
On a gold and black table cloth rests a tarot card. The card is labeled the Five of Cups in scrolled letters on a cream pennant at the bottom of the picture. In the center of a picture, a young witch in a blue dress with a purple cape and a matching purple hat rests on her knees at the edge of the beach. Her three cups of wine have spilled into the ocean, and she looks at them in despair. Behind her is a table laden with food and wine for a large party, with two more glasses of wine sitting within easy reach. Balloons are tied to the table and move gently in the steady ocean breeze. In the background, lush tropical greenery extends to the horizon.
On a gold and black table cloth rests a tarot card. The card is labeled the Six of Swords in scrolled letters on a cream pennant at the bottom of the picture. A young, dark haired witch rides a broom behind two robed friends. In her blue-scrolled backpack are six swords and a black cat, which might be too much to handle by herself on what is obviously a very windy day; leaves are blowing about and the wind itself is depicted as a translucent jet of air in the foreground. The witch and her friends are about to fly over a body of water, and a distant shore is just visible in the background. Above them, a huge full moon rides high in a sky full of stars.
On a gold and black table cloth rests a tarot card. The card is labeled the 19-The Sun in scrolled letters on a cream pennant at the bottom of the picture. In the middle of the card, three barefoot women dance on the green grass with hands linked in a circle. One is a young woman, slim in her blue skirt and short-sleeved white blouse, a pink bow at her belt and long red hair. One is a dark-haired pregnant mother wearing a long, sleeveless rust orange dress that shows off her baby bump. The third is an older, grey-haired lady in a sleeveless purple top and long yellow skirt caught up at her waist. The mother and older woman are smiling, and we assume the young woman probably is as well, but her back is to us. They are surrounded by a field of sunflowers in which three black cats play and watch their dance. Above shines a blazing yellow sun.

Mind: Five of Cups. So things didnât go the way you planned. You had a mental map all laid out; you had decided that This Is How It Works. Then it didnât work out that way. You have to let go of that thing you were obsessing over,

Keep a close eye on how your emotions make you act, though; youâre feeling things very deeply, and that can include sorrow and anger.
Spirit: Ace of Pentacles. This is a time of great abundance in your spiritual work;

Body: Page of Cups. Youâre experiencing an artisticâmaybe romanticârenaissance, with delight in putting your hands to new creative work. You may find yourself dancing in the sunlight for the joy of it, or writing poetry because itâs on the tip of your tongue.
A tarot card rests on a gold and black floral tablecloth. At the bottom, the card is labeled "King of Cups" in a playful font. In the center is a seated man with long golden hair and a crown dressed in a belted blue tunic, a red robe clasped with a golden sea shell, khaki brown pants rolled up past his ankles, and no shoes. His throne sits on an island of sand in the middle of the sea. It is made from a giant shell and the rib bones of a large animal, perhaps a whale. Behind his throne rests a broom, and in his hands are a gold and glass chalice and a telescope. At his feet is a tortoiseshell cat catching fish. In the distance dolphins dance and a mermaid with a red tail surfaces.
A tarot card rests on a gold and black floral tablecloth. At the bottom, the card is labeled "Five of Pentacles." In the foreground,a woman and a little girl of 8 or 9 years struggle through a snowstorm. The woman is dressed in a deep green and dark blue belted dress with a deep green cape flung back from her shoulders, billowing behind her in the driving wind. In her right hand she holds a brightly lit lantern, while her left clasps her black pointed hat to her head. The young girl is dressed in a belted pink tunic with a matching scarf over her hair, a short, dark green half cape at her shoulders, tan pants, and thick, hefty brown boots. In her right hand she holds her mother's broom while her left clasps her mother's dress to keep from getting lost in the howling storm. In front of them, a black cat leads them forward. In the background a barren, snow covered tree stands next to a sturdy, two-story tudor-style cottage. The house has stained glass windows that depict pentacles of orange and gold shining brightly though the storm, and from its two chimneys rise plumes of smoke that promise warmth and safety. It is boarded by a low stone wall.
A tarot card rests on a gold and black floral tablecloth. At the bottom, the card is labeled "Page of Cups." In the foreground, a young man with chin-length golden hair holds a paint brush and a paint-stained goblet. He is dressed in a belted white tunic covered in multicolor paint splotches, red and yellow striped pants, and his bare feet stand upon the warm earth. He is gazing happily at what we can assume is a painting on the wooden easel before him. Around his feet are scattered tubes of paint, a few of which have leaked. Behind him, resting on a stone, are a blue robe, a brown pointed hat, and a broom. It is spring, and the grasses and trees around him are a verdant new green. In the background a river flows. At its bank sits a mottled ginger cat, looking back at the young man.
A tarot card rests on a gold and black floral tablecloth. At the bottom, the card is labeled "Ace of Pentacles." A witch with loose golden, wavy hair stands in the center of a field of waving, high grass on a hillside. She is dressed in a short green tunic with a gold belt, green and yellow leggings, and what look like sturdy brown boots. A golden cape embroidered with green ferns at the edge is flung back from her shoulders. Atop her head is a pointed black hat. She is gazing in anticipation at the bright golden pentacle which she holds raised high in her right hand. In her left hand she holds a broom, behind which shines a bright yellow sun which flings yellow and red rays into the sky. Her right leg is poised to take the first step of her journey. In the foreground, a black cat sits before an empty golden dish and cleans its paws in satisfaction. In the background we see another hillside in the distance. At its center is a thatched-roofed cottage surrounded by trees, and in the field before it are apple trees bearing fruit. Through the apple orchard, a path runs straight to the cottage door.

Mind: Five of Pentacles. Youâve been struggling. Maybe you feel like youâve been in a brain fog, or like life distractions keep you from really reaching the potential you know youâre capable of. Keep pushing forward and reaching out; the clarity and success youâre looking for is so close.

Significator: King of Cups. This reading focuses on emotional maturity, empathy, and a gentle, fatherly kindness that lifts up the hurt, cares for the community, and fosters love. The following cards should be taken with this in mind.
Shallow bronze bowl holds water, daffodil petals, willow buds, and evergreen boughs, as well as a white, floating candle, which is lit. Behind the bowl is a stick of incense. The background of the photo is dark.

I'm not ready for this...
That's brilliant.
You are too much, friend. ::hugs::
Lady, that is A LOT. Therapy and a spiritual coaching session on the same day, too? Much less the physical self care? Order dinner and watch something mindless for an hour. Good grief.
I believe they've done work on the Good Folk from a number of cultures. I hope digging into their work helps some.
Good luck in your search!
@morgandaimler.bsky.social is the human you're looking for. Their work on the Other Crowd is unsurpassed, and they've written a number of books. There's a book list they recommend on one of their YouTube videos, too.
I saw "swastitruck" in reference to the cybertrucks, and I'll never call them anything else.

I love how the same idiot trumpers who literally blamed egg prices on Biden, and bragged that trump was going to magically bring them down, are all backtracking and saying he CAN'T do anything about egg prices.
And eggs are just the beginning.

Even Bob's mom tried to put pressure on me to have another grandkid for her. I was gentle in my reply because she's generally a really nice lady, and she backed off. But aside from all the practical reasons that's a terrible idea, nobody ever asks if you actually want a kid. They want one.
She's amazing!
Panel 1 August and Gustopher are walking home from the store with groceries. a carton of eggs has fallen out of the grocery bag and is sitting on the ground. Gustopher: AH! Dad, I tripped and dropped the eggs. Panel 2 This moment is making August remember a similar event when he was younger. He has a memory of tripping and dropping eggs. Gustopher: I'm sorry. Panel 3 August remembers the reaction from adults who were there in the moment and how it made him feel. He remembers the immediate guilt and inability to articulate an apology. Memory of an Unseen Adult: WHAT DID YOU DO!? Memory of August: I- I'm so- So-so-sor- Memory of an Unseen Adult: Sorry doesn't fix it. Clean it up! Gustopher: Dad? Panel 4 August kneels down to check on Gustopher. August: It's okay. It was an accident. Are you hurt? Gustopher: I'm fine. August: That's good. Let's clean this.
