AI is a huge boost for learning. While exploring CI/CD, ChatGPT helped me target and fix specific gaps without the usual tutorial chaos.

thinking of adding CI/CD to my side project @lazyplanner since i have to manually push/pull changes. not a big deal because i already have a script to automate most of it but i also want to learn more about CI/CD so it's a good excuse.

okay i added a subdomain as reverse proxy. this will makes it very hard for adblockers with default rules to block these analytics.

also tested it on brave and brave's adblocker blocked most posthog scripts except the ones i proxied.

Anyone using reverse proxy feature of posthog? did it gave u any additional accuracy on insights?

Always a timezone bug

frontend dev was having issues because of multiple cmd so i dockerized the whole project so it will be just one cmd run. I also wanted to replicate prod env instead of testing everything in production.

resisting the urge to over-engineer a project & still ends up looking like this.

Refactored whole app for websockets + django channels workflow.

Aerospace ( a tiling window manager ) + VS Code ( vim mode ) is one of the best combination i have tried so far.

okay, so i now i hit the limit of adding any new rich feature in task management tool because of it's synchronous architecture. was using polling + other mechanism for better UX.

now it's time for switching to channels & websockets.
