This is such an amazing capture of a SAR Arc! I’ve photographed so many years not knowing. I literally learned finally in 2024!!!

My family ancestral home is on this river. I dream of going back to see if it still stands. Picture circa 1910. My Grandfather Innokent Nikolaiovich Vorojenkine (pardon improper spelling) was 10 years old here and fled in 1919. Most of those pictured either starved or were murdered by Bolsheviks.

I love daylight savings time. If we shifted to standard sun goes down earlier in Summer and sunrise is like 4am. I don’t want to have to get up at 4am to enjoy same number of daylight hours … I love long summer nights when it’s not dark until 9:30pm.
