Def... EDM takes this scam to the next level tho—there are so many producers that labels can profit off microtransactions alone. In the past, indie acts needed some* traction. Now? 100 moms buying their kid’s track is enough. Labels don’t need more than a sale or two n a steady flow of new artists.
