My dad is not MAGA (I hope), but he surely believes in the aliens (that's my fault, I introduced him to the History Channel). I watched them and must say, from a purely cinematographic point of view, they were very well made. I think, at the time, HC was owned by National Geographic.
For the mermaids, they can re-air the two mockumentaries made in 2011 &2012 by the History Channel. Also, loads of stuff about aliens & conspiracies available almost on a daily basis. Without believing in any of those things, but I am a huge fan of History Channel.
