Written by students, for students, our web development course is completely beginner friendly and accessible for all - we think it would be a fantastic unit for year 9s, as well as being perfect for A-level students undertaking a web-development related NEA.

🔮 Later in the year, we’ll be adding levels covering Flask and how to connect SQL databases, so that students can create dynamic websites.

7 months ago 1 0 1 0

Then, they’ll create a personal brand and site to showcase everything they’ve learnt!

7 months ago 0 0 1 0

3️⃣ Level 3: Web design will teach students to design websites that look the treat, undertaking a project for a fictional client: Orchard Juice 🧃. Through a series of videos, they’ll learn the full process involved in designing a brand identity and creating a website wireframe.

7 months ago 0 0 2 0

2️⃣ Level 2: CSS is where students learn to add ✨style✨ to their websites. They’ll code a Top Trumps card, the UK Top 40 Chart, and as essential Navbar, that they can reuse on all their sites.

7 months ago 0 0 1 0

1️⃣ In Level 1: HTML, students will learn about the basic elements that form all web pages. They’ll create a “capture the page” game, and create pages including Orwell’s 1984, and an amusing Adrian Chiles article - thereby boosting both their cultural and coding knowledge!
