An air of sadness hangs over 9/11 this year
The eye exam is the perfect game design. That big E is a great tutorial that teaches you the basic mechanic. But it doesn't baby you and quickly gets hard as they introduce the small and blurry enemies.
The main difference between the twilight zone and a regular zone is all the weird stuff that goes on in there

Ah crap, there goes the life where I wasn’t thinking about Blue Prince all the time
Severance Season Two:
There are certainly a handful of good ideas and scenes this season, but I just didn't enjoy it overall.
For me, in the first season the focus was on the characters, with a large helping of mystery and a sprinkle of weirdness, and this season upset that balance quite a bit.

You can press L+R to put yourself into ghost mode as if you had died, which will relinquish the camera control to another player.
The ghost revive mechanic is neat, but the time limit is a bit stressful for my daughter, and it's basically useless in sections where I need to go fast. It also feels bad that we lose a life every time she doesn't make it, rather than when we both die.
Having Yoshi be the invulnerable character (which I don't want) and being able to carry other characters (which I do want to do sometimes) doesn't really make sense.
It's nice that I can easily switch down to 1 Player from the overworld when needed.
Having fun, but only two worlds in we are running into my 6 year old's limits of running and jumping at the same time. Some of the badges help, and using the easy characters, but it would be nice if invulnerability applied to other characters she wanted to play.
For busy Scorsese fans like me they should have screenings of Killers of the Flower Moon at 130% speed
Why do they look like Wario and Waluigi for Steve Martin and Martin Short

I have a letterboxd list for all the movies I've watched for this challenge so far. I'm a few weeks behind right now, but hoping to catch up soon.

I watched Elysium (2013) last night as part of my 52 Week Movie Challenge this year. Didn't love it! There were some interesting visuals, but everything was so on the nose. I did manage to dig up an old Slashfilmcast episode for it though with Jeff Cannata guesting on it, so looking forward to that.
