The plants themselves are coming along too. Here's what I'm planning for the first year. I'm starting broccoli and tomatoes indoors and direct sowing the rest.

I also quite proud of how this gate turned out! Also made from stuff I had laying around, besides the hinges and latch.

I've still got plenty of wood from that playset, I think I will be turning it into a compost bin.

The deer fence itself was also reused from an old fenced-off pen in my backyard that must have been a garden itself long ago. I'm also putting in drip irrigation. This will be automated with Home Assistant, I got a Z-Wave relay box and transformer to hook up to the valves

New veggie garden! 1/? ๐ŸŒฑ #gardening

I'm starting a new veggie garden, so last fall I smothered a section of lawn. I had a lot of junk laying around I was able to use before buying anything new. Here I took down an old playset and used it fenceposts. The pavers were also left over from prev owners.

I graduated college in spring 2017. My entire working adult life he's been the center of US politics. Openly scamming the whole country while his base worships him. I just want it to end.

Do this in the US and I guarantee you that a certain segment of the population will say they're eyesores (as opposed to the vast expanse of parking lot)

Disney chooses the side of money. They just miscalculated how many subscribers come from the alt-right Twitter bots.

6 months ago 1 0 0 0

They also don't report subscriber numbers so we won't get any picture of the impact until their earnings report

People are confused on the "billions lost" number. That's the amount the value of the company had dropped based on stock, about 2% drop this week... but still up 22% YOY.

I doubt they are feeling much backlash. But in general, I would be very choosy when giving money to a megacorp in this climate

Sarah Palin on SNL, introduced in a cold open but by Tina Fey. That was 17 years ago, I don't know at what point so much of the country decided our leader being a giant whiny jerk was cool.

That won't stop them from designating someone/some org as "funding" them and to be investigated.

Felt like Spencer Cox said something similar when he was so proud that Utahns were holding vigils instead of rioting. Weird ass thing to say.

I can't fathom why they think the two situations are remotely similar.

Happened to a couple of my friends - on the right track, then get to college and drop out, and just kind of spin their wheels going nowhere for at least few years.

Unfortunately these days there's a wide variety of online communities ready to take people like that into their grasp.
