On Tuesday, 11 IL townships held votes to place referendums on their Nov ballots, regarding repealing the state’s anti-BDS law. In the process, six townships made history. The vote passed in the townships of Cunningham, Peoria, Kickapoo, Medina, DuPage, and Normal.

Tonight, 11 Illinois townships held votes to place referendums on the November ballot, regarding repealing IL’s anti-BDS law.

It PASSED in Cunningham, Peoria, Kickapoo, Medina, DuPage, and Normal.

Oak Park and Champaign POSTPONED their meetings at the last minute.

Naperville DID NOT ALLOW a vote

The votes are in for Cunningham Township in Illinois!

A referendum calling for the repeal of Illinois’ anti-BDS law will be on the ballot in November.

The vote passed 62-11.

A day of solidarity and community at ICE's Broadview Detention Center Police briefly intervened in the protest, threatening to arrest protestors who stepped outside the "free speech zone."

Yesterday, activists and organizers across the country held mass demonstrations outside ICE Detention centers, dubbing it “F*** ICE Day.” I visited the protest that took place at noon, outside the now infamous ICE Detention Center in Broadview, Illinois.
