This also comes out in people saying things that are just completely wrong for the location because of how people in Southern California say things.
There is a Gilmore Girls episode in which characters refer to "the 95." This would *never* happen. But the writers are in Southern California.
I donated for Kennesaw State yesterday but might have to again later this week. Important to stay perched at the top of the barn
ah taking me back to my first job
I'll go to the airport with children but not the British children
I usually agree with Will but the simple fact is that if you worry about spending too much time at the airport then either you do not drink alcohol or you do not enjoy crossword puzzles. Which is fine. But it ain’t me.

Go Owls. The fees obscure my real contribution but i think it’s easy enough to guess
I was leaning their way already (one of my favorite teams in CFB 25) and this seals it. Thank you!
I want to donate somewhere between $69 and $420 to the #charitibundibowl but my school, not being FBS, is not represented. I’m told that @edsbs.bsky.social will advise recommendations. I could do Boise State for the field I guess. Or any team named the Owls.
Google search as of 2026 or as of like 2022. Think 2022 is a lot closer even against 2026 LLMs
wow *exactly* 60%, that's a little better than usual for me (4:57)
I like "ED." I know what it stands for, but the mind runs wild with possibilities. "Guy named Ed." "Editor." "Efensive Dend." "Erec----I am dragged off the stage by Goodell's minions."
I'm reading Cryptonomicon right now and it is about that to a sometimes alarming degree
LeBron has more playoff points (8289) than the person with the second most regular season points in this game (Clint Capela) has regular season points (8236)
Do you not like Stancil? I consider you both broadly members of the Sanity Caucus.
“The only people who can even remotely deal with Online were born between 1986 and 1992, and that is why Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will lead us into the light” is the position I have ended up holding mostly unironically
Oh cool! I didn’t realize there was more than one either. I thought you were talking about Centenary College of Louisiana, and I didn’t remember whether or not it was a college or university anyway.
Yeah I guess when your mascot is “the Gentlemen” you’re gonna have some rich dipshits. Robert Parish was cool though.
i made a crossword about Mel Ott and his friends. It's not good enough to submit anywhere so I'm posting it. But maybe soon I will make one that is.

this has inspired me to try and make a crossword based on this theme
"offensive to Pius ears" would be funny if there was a pope Pius, but from what I know of popes I don't think Piuses (Pii?) would be known for their senses of humor
those are so good that I think I get them wrong
who is Ludwig Ott? I'm interested in him and Phoenix Suns coach Jordan Ott to potentially break Mel's hundred-year stranglehold on the crossword
"What does papal infallibility mean" is up there with the all-time greats of many people misunderstanding something, your immaculate conceptions, three-fifths compromises, "champing at the bit," gantlets/gauntlets/gamuts
I didn't realize Michigan was expensive, I guess it would be out of state. Northwestern. Pepperdine. Georgetown.
The Ivies, Duke, etc. are a combination of rich kids and smart kids (and both). The second and third and fourth tiers of private schools are where you find the highest combination of "rich and not smart" - the big state schools have lots of smart people and lots of dumb ones, relatively fewer rich
