Honestly it is kinda weird that Mimi-Rose didn’t just tell Adam about the abortion if she wants to be more communicative but at the same time Adam is so unpredictable and scary sometimes that I think it’s kind of a serve that she told him that way.

I hate that AI makes me feel this sort of distrust. If it is AI, I’m just not going to cosplay it, but like… man, an artist DID make the costume that appears in the game. It exists. What’s with the variants?!

Is this a third model? A beta version with different costume details? Her hair’s different, is it just a different costume?

Like is the second one a diff character in a very similar outfit as the first, or is it an AI generated promo image trying to copy the first? It honestly feels like it could be either but there are no other tells.

I hate that the state of gen AI is so bad that I sometimes now can’t tell if there’s 2 inconsistent models for a character in a video game (ie the battle and cutscene and pre-rendered models) or if there are AI generated promo images that LOOK like an additional model.

I’m not complaining at all or asking for the Pitt to be the “final” anything, I’m just making an observation on something I felt could have been explored more or communicated more effectively. 🤷‍♀️ I’m glad you enjoyed it, though!

The Pitt is not reality, and is in fact very often invested in telling its audience what to think on specific subjects, so I don’t see why there couldn’t be more nuance there.

Truthfully idgaf about Grey’s Anatomy but I’m tired of hearing “This isn’t GA” about interest in the Pitt’s characters lives and interpersonal relationships bc it starts to feel more than a little sexist in its assessment of what GA is “about” compared to the Pitt.

I just wish this show had consistent writing about that misinformation. These "woo woo" approaches to medicine seem to appear much more in female patients, but TikTok is also presented as this cool radical self-care thing when... TikTok is a massive source of that misinformation for women.

About two hours in there’s a sequence that’s almost 5 minutes long of just flickering and flashing lights and I couldn’t even close my eyes because I could see it behind my eyelids. Felt awful.

Saw Project Hail Mary and I… didn’t really like it… but more specifically am kind of alarmed that some strobing sequences made me very nauseous and headachey? Almost disoriented for a second.

If you haven’t come across it yet, I found /r/ThePittNoSantosHate to be a breath of fresh air, honestly the best longer form discussion I’ve seen.

It’s also really funny to see the juxtaposition between really beautiful backgrounds and animation like it’s trying to be very “epic” and then like… awkward nostalgia bait moments.

Some of these action sequences feel like watching Advent Children for the first time and being like oh so none of these people are meaningfully impacted by physics and can effortlessly jump 30ft.

Watching the new Avatar movie leak and the dialogue is so awful, I’m really floored by how juvenile and wooden it is.
