my grip4 is back in business. the company also finally offered a refund or replacement. i asked for either a replacement to a grip4 or refund if not possible

for reference. i have since removed the adhesive off my old grip4 which sadly ruins the aesthetic of this case, but still grips very strong to my 17 pro case and i can remove it without fighting or removing my case.

the only downside to the grip 4 was needing to use adhesive. at this rate idgaf if it needs adhesive if it works

speaking of wish. im afraid to use this controller when it comes in now due to this issue. i honestly just want a replacement back to a grip 4 at this rate if this is what they say will happen to a grip5. my grip4 had no issues with charging. had no issues with using other accessories while attached

any time i try to remove it while my case is on, i hear a snap noise. i looked under the grip part that pops off. its snapping. im waiting for their response, but like. this is ridiculous. mind you. i LOVED my snapgrip 4. i even decided to kickstart their magsafe controller.

i responded with my other issue. i cannot remove this grip without having to remove the whole case i have. other grips do not have this issue with this case. i was using an old grip until this came in. i also sent them an image of the damage ive experienced to the grip since getting it

their response? its nothing wrong with the grip. they prioritized hold and grip for this model and recommend taking it off to charge wirelessly. the whole gimmick with ohsnap is i dont have to remove it to use other magsafe accessories? so like what.

been having charging issues and hold issues on my magsafe stuff with the oh snap grip 5 since upgrading. filed a warranty claim since its been less than a month. they offer a 1 year warranty. 48 hours later they respond to my claim

given thursday is a holiday. obvi no stream.

again sorry for no stream today. its the partner’s birthday and i am spending that day with him :)
