a two page spread from the March 2000 issue of Incite PC Gaming where Warren Spector is being interviewed about Deus Ex. Warren Spector is standing in some sort of parking garage at dusk wearing a long black jacket, sunglasses and is folding his arms. he is also wearing unironed jeans and what looks like some off-brand shoes
i love that there is only one kind of image of Warren Spector (college professor of gaming) except for the time incite pc gaming dressed him like an extra from the Matrix who is just trying to get his SAG card

This video by my pal has picked up some steam!
Just don't see a world where I'm getting that out for guests on the regular (good as a couple of those minigames are).
'Proper controls' doing a lot of heavy lifting, there.
It's like watching my nan being forced to use email.
"Will the Wii U survive another house move?" was a conversation I had with myself yesterday. It did. The second Wind Waker HD is on Switch, though, it's bin time. Star Fox Zero cannot rep it alone. And the analogue sticks on the GamePad are *so* disgusting now.
We just recorded this. The 1v1 drafts invoke very particular mind games that I'd missed (i.e. me psychically damaging Matthew).
Packets of all four flavours of Nik Naks, together in a shop
This might not translate globally, but for UK people, this is like seeing the Beatles reform
I knew George Miller was in this game but only just learned he plays 'Tarman'.
Peak procrastination during packing for the house move: reading the Death Stranding 2 cover feature in Edge and idly thinking, 'huh, that should be a really good video game.'
I'll wait for a sale.
I really respect that you're doing this to yourself.
Making adult choices like 'do I save my money for furniture or buy the game where you play as a cartoon mouse with a Tommy gun?'
Most of these were rubbish, anyway, with no way to add to new games without hacking them.
Huh, there's a bottle of whiskey in the Without Remorse one.
Clearing out my flat, which is rife with lockdown artefacts. Behold: a WandaVision notepad and Tom Clancy's Without Remorse (2021) promo bag.
A few people have sent me the shot of Troy Baker at the BAFTAs last night which includes me in the background looking like this:
A hen do just watched me absolutely Ed Milliband a Pret sausage sandwich while fighting a hangover. Never have I looked more handsome.
The premise is flawed — streaming isn’t convenient anymore. When it came out, it was. But the act of putting a DVD or CD in a player is way more convenient than wading through multiple services to find what you’re looking for, finding out it’s not included in your tier, and dealing with commercials.
Everyone in the BAFTA crowd thought Lana Del Rey was there for one glorious second. Then it was over so fast.
I am not the starstruck sort normally but I just walked past a bloke who was bloody Daredevil!
I wonder how many times people have asked this dude to let the games do the talking. www.pcgamer.com/games/rpg/ki...
Think this is about as good our podcasts get...
Thing is I didn't like Scrubs for about half of its original run – a wildly inconsistent and overly saccharine show that got worse as it went. But this is mega focused on executing on a few things well (and even then it dipped in the middle).
Watched all of new Scrubs, enjoyed most of it. Tough for Braff: I'm in the same sub-genre of ageing as he is (the sub-genre: granite work surface).
Of all the podcast formats I've created (read: stolen or borrowed), this one turned out great!
Ahhh, that's so exciting. Glad I'm at the BAFTAs!
