I may have gone a little crazy with the ingredients for this Carolina Reaper Sriracha.

Because you can't physically stop someone. Suicidal ideation like he has isn't enough to get an involuntary psych hold. If they kept pushing they may have done more harm than good

Best Trek game by a mile, albeit still a janky one. Get it before it's too late
I may have emulated the Master System. I also played the VN spinoff game where you hatch the alien from the egg. Currently playing PS2 but it's definitely not as good as 2. I played 4 as a kid on the Genesis and want to go through all of the non-mmo ones
I recently played it for the first time on the Master System. Loved it. Amazing music too
Phantasy Star 1 still holds up today to an exceptional degree.

Signing a letter is pretending to stand up. Unless they refuse to work for them then this is nothing but virtue signalling
Letters are just a way for them to speak out against something they aren't willing to fight against with actual actions
Considering how much good material they had to work with in tonight's Cold Open on SNL, it was incredibly dull until the Limp Bizkit parody at the very end.
I think Elmo needs to be Cloud just so we can see Sephiroth played as Rocco
I was thinking of this too. Would turn it into a full on submarine in space style. Would try and limit as much space battle effects to be shown on viewing screens in the ship. I wonder how long a shift on a Starfleet ship is.
I can't see this right now. I just ordered Mexican on UberEats and my main entree was not there
you do not have to hand it to tucker carlson or marjorie taylor greene or alex jones or megyn kelly. they're all rats who see trump as a sinking ship and they're getting ready to jump in preparation for their next act. you do not have to fall for it.
Finished Part 2 of The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson, the first in the Mistborn trilogy. I'm really digging the worldbuiling and magic system, but I have found the actual prose to be pedestrian (using the same words and descriptors being the most notable) and the dialogue feeling like MCU banter
Yeah, I plan to go through the whole cycle but I need to pace myself. What I read in Book of the New Sun is still percolating in my mind right now
I heard of Borges from just looking up writers like Wolfe before, but didn't remember his works. I'll put them on the list.
Five books / series to get to know me by:
1. The Malazan Book of the Fallen
2. The Book of the New Sun
3. The Alliance-Union Universe
4. Otherland
5. The Bible
I finished Book of the New Sun for the first time recently. Was a huge eye opener for me. Any of the other 4 similar to Wolfe's writing?
Yeah. We just can't use the oven and the windows need to be open to clear out the smell
We had a fun easter. We had to evacuate the house after dinner due to a gas leak
Jokes on you, I didn't go to school!
I'll forget about it by the time it is revealed
I know next to nothing about cars but that looks like a ton of trash compacted and ready for recycling. Maybe their new vehicle will be made with a decent portion of recycled material?
“I dislike social commentary. Like… I really hate it. When I’m reading a book, I just want to be entertained, not preached at by the author. Plus, it ruins the wonder of the story if I know the author has a political or social axe to grind. I no longer speculate about all possible outcomes of the story because I know for a fact that the universe of that book will conspire to ensure that the author’s political agenda is validated. I hate that,” Weir said. “I put no politics or social commentary into my stories at all. Anyone who thinks they see something like that is reading it in on their own. I have no point to make, and I’m not trying to affect the reader’s opinion on anything. My sole job is to entertain, and I stick to that.” “For instance, as a lifelong Star Trek fan, it’s always bothered me that there is a presumed ‘responsibility’ within Star Trek shows to talk about social issues,” the writer added. “I just want to watch Romulans and the Federation shoot at each other.”
Ah, so Andy Weir is like... *dumb* dumb

I'm stuck in the Seinfeld parking lot
That was me too, the only difference being that I bought a 3080. And that I'll be stupid again and buy a Pro before the price hike due to my PS5 being closer to it's deathbed than I care to admit.
I remember a time with our late cat, Static, where I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Came out into the hallway to hear my sweet cat hissing (never heard this from him) so I looked downstairs to see him looking straight out the window next to the door at a cat taunting him.
some of her series and the rest of Gene Wolfe's Solar Cycle, I plan on attempting Tolkien and Lewis again, among many other books and authors I have not mentioned. I've a strong conviction that it will go much better this time around.
Moral of the story: try things more than once, especially art.
I had not yet identified as a Christian (though now I see myself as more of a Christ Follower), nor been into the concepts of theology and mythology like I am today. Reading that book changed me once again and now I've come full circle to reading C.J. Cherryh and loving her work. Once I finish
