Mini Momo was an understandable delay. The amnesia arc took away all of Momo's growth as a character and that's why people are annoyed by it.

A large reason why the manga was so good was because we watched their relationship grow alongside them fighting off aliens and ghosts. Their relationship was tied to the pacing. The growth of that relationship has been on pause for months now and we're just getting generic romance conflict.

Listen I've seen the take that Jiji is going to take her to Okarun. That he knows they love each other and he's going to bring them together. Which is a great idea if it wouldn't lead to more misunderstandings because Okarun is doing something out of character by holding Aira's hand.

Pairing the main love interests up with the rivals sucks. The scene where Aira was the most earnest we've seen her was nice and extremely human. That doesn't excuse the choice to make them hold hands. It's out of character for Okarun to agree to that. Then we mirror it with Jiji and Momo???

Dandadan has been in the amnesia arc for 6 months now and it doesn't appear to be ending anytime soon. People are rightfully upset. Resetting a character back to zero is never satisfying. I said months ago this was a cheap way of creating conflict and the newest chapter feels like a double down.

So you may feel like your art has lost impact but I assure you it's special to me and to others I'm sure. Follow your heart and do what's best for you. Maybe take a break. I just hope you don't stop altogether because your art will be missed.

That being said your art is extremely meaningful to me. It directly inspires me to want to improve my own art. I have a style inspo board and you're one of the few artists on that board.

Hey artists! QRP with your sketch vs final!

Don't get me wrong. I love part 1 and I think the manga artist is very good. I just think he really didn't want to make it past part 1. That ending came from a place of wanting it to be over not from wanting to give a cathartic ending.

Chainsaw Man may very well be the absolute biggest fall from grace I've witnessed in a manga. How do you go from compelling, interesting, and complex characters in part 1 to the confusing trash that was part 2. Now the ending comes in to make it all pointless? Terrible.

I totally understand but also, let's get a couple of beefy bois in there. Some real buff dudes.

Johnny Joestar is a very different JoJo protagonist. The new universe is part 7 is interesting but why are all the dudes slim now?

I was trying to hold myself to a post schedule for art. WIPs on Wednesday and final pieces are Friday. It's just really hard to keep that schedule sometimes. I do want to post more consistently though.

I had a blast drawing Genie for the #GenieDTIYS! I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

They think it's going to be the future of everything but it's no different than crypto/NFTs. Many people thought those things were the future but crypto is basically just pump and dump scams and NFTs have been completely forgotten. Eventually they'll realize the thing you already know. It's trash.

You're completely correct about the time and money! Unfortunately I don't know that the general public cares about how genAI looks. I think the issue is that the US economy has invested so much into these companies and the bubble hasn't burst.
