Today, a traveler called "Shadi Smith" was killed, struck in the head by a bottle of grape juice. He was last seen at the Borscht Bowl Club playing poker with Phoenix Wright, who is under suspicion of Smith's murder. Wright's trial is to be held in three days.

Apollo is surprised to hear this, and after a short pause, he says somewhat awkwardly, "Well, I learned it during my internship." Edgeworth, maintaining his composure, says, "I'm glad Wright wasn't your only mentor. Please use what you've learned to benefit the legal profession in your own way." Apollo is a little shocked, but happily replies, "Ah, yes, I'll do my best!"
