Yarvin (and Thiel and all the other billionaire fucks) was clear about what was coming. Alas, here we are, by the barest wisp of a win, Trump is happily building the techbro dreamworld on the ashes of American democracy.

Incredible work. I do quite a bit of hiking/wandering throughout Florida and enjoy the springs. Unfortunately I’ve got cold induced urticaria so my time *in* any spring is pretty limited. Love being able to see a view I’m unable to experience myself through such a great lens!

People across socials are telling you to rethink your hatred of literal dictators. That's not discourse- it's propaganda. If they can convince you the past wasn't so bad, they can sell you the future they are building. And that future? Looks a lot like the past they want you to forget.

Where every crisis—housing, healthcare, education—is met with shrugs unless it threatens a senator’s stock portfolio? Something, something, slippery slope... Anyone else see the ad praising the dictator with the tiny moustache?

The Civil Rights Movement, for instance, was driven by rhetoric that some deemed "overheated" at the time. Leaders like Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X were criticized for alarmist language, yet their words galvanized necessary action.

Talking power, politics, and society. Love weird rabbit holes, inconvenient truths, and the occasional "wow, we’ve learned nothing." After all, sociology is just the scientific way of saying, ‘Y’all see this, right?’

Serious question; is this something that Bondi’s DOJ would consider illegal under their new targeting of private corporations for DEIA initiatives? Like, what exactly are we talking about here? The entire idea is making my blood run cold and my sense of righteous justice run hot.

It was a thriller. It’s apparently pretty close to what’s actually occurring

Apparently there was such a novel! Well, sort of: Night of Camp David by Fletcher Knebel

Teach a man to fish and he’ll eventually claim he just always had that knowledge innately and then try to explain to you how fishing works

That makes sense and something I hadn’t considered. Thanks for sharing your perspective!

I’m at a loss as to why this is bad exactly. What am I missing?

You can see some of the staining here on the boiler tub. Hopefully it won’t take too long for a patina to develop on these

I’ve added to my collection of copper containers; 2 antique copper coal pails, an antique copper apple cauldron and a Lady Hibbard copper boiler tub. Normally I’d have left the patina but there was some unattractive staining on them that had to be removed. Wish I could find more info on the tub

In the same boat. Coworkers spent breakfast time stoked about Trump wanting to take over Greenland and Canada etc etc

It’s been a *rough* ten or so years.

Though not unintelligent, I’d agree that my relatives and coworkers who’ve been the most strident believers in Q fall into that category. They also share an obsessive and addictive personality type and all have histories of personal trauma.
