Danso is at fault for that one but I don’t blame him for the loss. He played well #coys

Unpopular opinion but Spurs by far best period of this season was during the #bentinha period.
And before we played Chelsea, as the script always goes #coys
I’m certainly no expert on this but I just don’t see us doing the sensible, for the best of the future, move here. Balancing books from day one has always won future footballing triumphs. Add to this that few players seem up for it. Anyway I hope we keep most of these guys but I fear a clear out
They never even showed a will to learn. Still don’t.
Many of these won’t stay I’m afraid. 50% perhaps. Mostly the younger less experienced. Not even sure Vuscovic will come if we get a decent offer for him board will most likely cash in. Same for Bergwall I’d say. If we’re lucky gray stays. I’d basically not put my hopes this high
Well. Poch was that guy but I agree on the dereliction of duty from the board pretty much since him. Poch that is
Very much so. Spreads calmness. I actually think he is decent looking forward too. Sometimes he does a little shoulder drop and gets away from press
I’d have a beer with him
Sure. But we’re about 80% more likely to end the game with 11 men which hopefully gives us a full 90mins for dizerbi, and the rest, to come up with something for us all to cling on.
Plus the pundits will have 95% less biased cliches to spew around. Even tho they will find something else naturally
In my opinion it’s wort it to gain elsewhere. Maybe just maybe someone else will step up from his shadow. His shadow is pretty big
The more I think of it Romero out is good for us.
We all know there is a biased judging of him anyway, we’d have that whole narrative in addition to the opposition team, to play against, every game.
We can’t change the narrative, but we can change the player, and now it was done for us #coys
None. Compare that to Romero who’s been part fault to atleast a handful of goals, in addition to being sent off in and consequently being banned for many games, top it all off with the social media bs.
On the plus side he’s scored some and made some smart passes but someone else should do that
No one can. I’ve not heard one anyway and I can only assume the players then deep inside think the same.
But as I posted earlier, maybe no Romero for the rest of, well ever, will change something
Agree. There was also a huge pressure from fans, pundits, influencers etc to play ’forward attacking entertaining football’. According to them that was totally plausible with this squad.
History tells us that we can barely play decent football for 90mins without totally collapsing
I like your optimism sir
It was not the first time Chelsea halted our season, only this time it basically set us in a multi years long relegation spiral free fall.
And Chelsea will get a chance to finish the job in a few weeks. Unless we kill ourselves before then, which isn’t unlikely
I’ve got that suspicion too. Brobbey might’ve done us a favour. Time will tell.
Only my darkest speculations of course. But I’d feel foolish not to assume the worst atm. Don’t trust these owners one bit
Injuries too yes. But perhaps instead of us going full metal and instead managed to measure out a few draws would’ve helped with both wrongs, the health of both club and players
Am I the only one who thinks that Romeros injury just perhaps throws us a lifeline the last couple of games?
Maybe it’s a last chance to change mindset from the dept, since he usually occupies that space in the squad brain #coys
Sure. But with us tumbling around in the lower leagues it might very well look an option for Enic.
There are plenty of London teams in need of a stadium, teams that play Europe and shows on TV. Or permanent NFL?
I guess the spurs ladies could save us
December 2024 and we did nothing to change it, now it’s engrained #coys
If we do a few poor seasons in the championship I don’t see anything stopping Enic from separating Tottenham FC from the entertainment enterprise and stadium. Get a proper sponsor stadium name and ask for rent if we want to stay put playing there #coys
With any kind of sanity yes. I just doubt there is much of that here
In the championship next year we’ll be the big boy, the ”man city”.
Can you imagine the clown show we’ll experience from Lange and Vinai in that position. Crrrriiist… #coys
We’re making our own bad luck by simply not showing any fight. No one is gona give cry babies a pass. We look deflated and by so don’t get taken seriously by refs, opposition, punters and probably ball boys
You are right. That was the beginning of the end. We should’ve acted shortly after that but did nothing
All stats point to that so I agree. It’s just gone from bad to worse, and we thought it was really bad back then. I’m actually kind of impressed we had the points we had under Frank now seeing how shit we are. He had more injuries and absences to deal with too
In fact we’ve become experts at throwing games, in various ways
Yeah. I’m starting to think grinding out some draws and the occasional win under Frank for the rest of this season would’ve been the wiser way. Then reassess in summer. Especially when we threw away 7 games plus champions league right after with Tudor.
