Doh on the inadvertent sticker, and thanks for the insight!
“Pro: Not a politician. Years of leadership experience at TAMU
Con: No academic experience. Never taught students, spent time in a lab or produced research
Will she support the goals of a higher ed institution or continue to remake TAMU into a high school?”
— Leonard Bright, TAMU AAUP President
What's your Artemis II playlist while we wait for the astronauts to get off the Integrity? We've got '2001' by Phish playing. Thus Spake Zarathustra!
Science is good. We should fund it.
Y'all know that mermaid lagoon was where influencers first got started in those clam shells posting on listservs, right?

Last week #IT@UofT took to the ice for a friendly hockey game followed by free skate time! 🏒 ⛸️
The fourth annual IT@UofT hockey game was a hit from start to finish. CIO @donnakidwell.bsky.social dropped the puck and @jordanholmes.bsky.social & Marden Paul were on colour commentary.

You could say that Rock n Roll was born 111 years ago today in Arkansas, but probably not where you'd think. Before there was a Chuck Berry or Little Richard, there was those who wanted to be like her.

As someone who has spent 20 years funding incremental advances in digital tools for humanities research, the leaps we've seen in just the last year are incredible. (One example from Alex below, but many others in really hard areas like handwriting recognition.)
I know we're all focused on Minnesota for darker reasons right now, but my former employer dropped this yesterday and I just want everyone to watch it. Becca will always be one of my favorite musicians and people, and I was so lucky to work with her for almost 15 years.
Can't wait!!!
Toronto's scene is amazing!!
Thanks to @technologyreview.com and Finian Hazen (who was a student in my special seminar @buffett.northwestern.edu) for this profile of our work @citizenlab.ca
Fall colors on cypress and oak trees around a neighborhood lake with a fountain on a cloudy day. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas family visit up to Dallas, where the trees still celebrate fall!
Here's a bit about what we're working on at #UofT in the higher ed & tech space with @drdonnakidwell.com leading the way... and it was my pleasure to write about it! ⬇️
Aligning, collaborating, and dreaming big for a secure, scalable and ethically governed technology environment for all. 🔮🤖🌿
“Have Yourself A Merriam Little Christmas”
Merriam, a career-oriented lexicographer from the city, returns to her small town for the holidays and meets Webster, a ruggedly handsome librarian, who shows her the true DEFINITION of Christmas.
The Land of Enchantment needs a boost - how about a series where we frame ABQ into something beautiful like a modern retelling of Canticle for Leibowitz. Albuquerque becomes the nexus of creating knowledge and human ingenuity! (And let's do a rewrite to include Rhea Seehorn ❤️)
Any name recognition is good? 😅
