Probably because of her shooting, shooting 20/20 more than half her 4 shoot races. Michelon is definitely the preferred 4th for a relay. But I think it's a great choice, Bened has been extremely consistent shooting 20/20. Both deserve a start and both get it in their best disciplines.

I think it was confirmed to be Simon, Jeanmonnot, JBB and Bened. Michelon gets the sprint/pursuit. Mass start depends on who takes medals. Simon is the 5th in the overall(only 4 can start I think) but if she takes a medal Michelon is out and same if Michelon takes a medal with JBB etc.

I wonder if they would have let Braisaz out had she not won Nove Mesto. Feels like a bit of a guess considering she only hit 90% in 2 of her last 10 indiviuals. On the other hand Michelon has not been performing in individuals like she did last season(3rd in the individual globe).

This was the case until the 23/24 season I think, but was changed last year. Oeverby and Michelon won ibu but only Michelon went to the wc. Probably the best decision considering the french and norwegians have dominated the IBU cup and the winner is often the one that does not go to the wc early.

There is a spot for the nations whose athlete won the IBU cup (Bened and Frey) last year and a personal spot for last year's world cup winners. The total spots per nation are capped at 7 (Norwegian men would otherwise have 8 spots winning both ibu and wc last year).
