Usually I’m not big on supplements. They’re unregulated and not well understood in most cases. But it seemed pretty harmless to try. I hope it keeps working because I’m only at half the final dose and still itch. The post meal attacks have mostly stopped though.

My cardiology NP suggested I start taking a supplement called luteolin; many patients found it as effective as cromolyn for MCAS symptoms. It’s been a week and I’m having fewer symptoms after eating AND it’s making my blood sugar behave more. I guess bc my body isn’t so pissed off.
Check with your insurance but OmniPod can go through pharmacy benefits. I’ve never used it so I can’t comment.
I’m using the twiist (only available thru mail order pharmacy, under pharmacy benefits). I really like it, but the definitely have some things to work on. I’m attributing it to being new.
Ooh. I hope so. I wish I knew where my old iPods got to. 2 were stolen. The others I can’t remember.
Keep us posted!

I just really need everyone to know. It’s my cats’ first birthday.
It’s also my late grandma’s birthday. She was exactly 60 years and 6 months older than me (to the day). My birthday is October 7. I spent the whole day hoping *things* wouldn’t happen to ruin this day too.
In 2007 Georgia there weren’t many French dubbed movies available. I took French through AP level. Every time the teacher was out we got a movie… I don’t think I’ve ever seen “the Incredibles” in English.

Haha. I flew on my birthday a few years ago. TSA in Atlanta just looked at my ID and my face then said. “Mmf. You’s older today,” and waved me through the checkpoint.
Combined with celiac it’s like… I could end it all with a jelly donut? Be so for real.
We aren’t sure where it came from but at our last house there was an eruption of catnip in our back yard one year. We go so, so many neighborhood cats lounging in the yard.
I feel like that’s asking wayyyyy too much!
They really need to invent a Lyumjev that doesn’t hurt.
The last time I went to my credit union to buy checks the lady was like “okay, but how many do you think you’ll really need? I can print you like 20 for free.” So I did that bc I really don’t need that many checks!
My cats like to pretend they don’t understand. Then I had to put the water bowl away so the dog could get anesthesia one morning. Boy they understood the WATER button then!

Butthead in question.
I would like the thank* my cat for chewing through my pump tubing while I was taking a nap. Maybe it’s the high blood sugar talking, but what a butthead!
*strangle
This seems super easy. Cut before oven? Or after? If made some small I’m sure the cats would like them too.
Now you can brag on two scales (as if you couldn’t already do the math)!
If you can get your hands on Diet Sunkist Orange up there, it’s the best (in my opinion). I’m on a grape soda fixation right now. There’s a regional grape soda I fell in love with that I drove an hour to go get. I’m also drinking grape Ghost (energy). Also whatever I can make in my soda stream.
But real talk, I will be going to the Container Store too. That place is so calming.
My mom started the habit in me of always going to lunch and/or the mall after an endo appointment. So now I’m off to a mall in Atlanta to act like I have money for anything. 🛍️
That’s something I don’t miss about apartment living: not being able to invite myself to dinner at the neighbor’s place.
I spent 20 minutes on my lunch break sitting in the back of my car with the hatch open. I was freezing because the AC at work was set to arctic and I forgot my sweater. Plus I was wearing a tank top. 20 minutes I sunned like a lizard. My shoulders are pink. It was barely sunny!
Not like GoodRX. It is good RX. They’re using the exact same codes. There was a pharmacist on Threads that took the time to compare every code and they were identical.
My grandpa served in WWII, but they honorably discharged him because they thought doing a PhD was a better use of his potential than fighting a war. He was so, so smart.
I think it’s hilarious how over on Threads it’s like a *thing* to use somebody’s name in smartass responses; I think the bots are picking it up. A lot of usernames are like johnsmith2323 or BeccaThePoet. Me? Pancreassassin. On two occasions now I’ve been called Pancreas like it’s my government name.
Over on Threads everyone is saying “well you don’t know she’s taking Ozempic. Stop assuming!” But she’s publicly talked about taking it? I’m not convinced the face isn’t surgery. It looks like that buccal fat removal that is taking over Hollywoood.
I can’t get them into my third holes anymore. I’ve been procrastinating getting them repierced.
