Saw INXS open for The Kinks in Toronto shortly before this album was released.
I have The Strawberry Bricks guide, I’ll have to check out the others.
Underrated album of the day, 1982 Payolas album “No Stranger to Danger”. The Payolas were a Canadian new wave rock band that featured famous producer Bob Rock.
Glad to see you here, enjoy your videos, hopefully a strong community of music fans will materialize on BlueSky.
Luckily I didn’t experience any streaming issues but the main draw was a disappointment. A couple of the undercard fights were competitive.
Underrated album of the day, Havana 3 A.M’s self titled 1991 album featured Paul Simonon, former bass player for The Clash. Great album with Rockabilly and Latin influences.
Using Bluesky more as well, Twitter or X or whatever it’s called is now a cesspool toilet of everything that is wrong with social media.
Underrated Album of the Day,
BB Gabor’s self titled 1980 debut album. Juno nominated best new artist, this album had a couple of hit singles that made the Toronto and Canadian charts including “Metropolitan Life” and “Nyet Nyet Soviet”. Sadly BB died by suicide in 1990. RIP BB!!
I find the way pitchers are used now, the roster size at 26 is too small. In 1977 Jays used 15 pitchers, 2024 they used 34. I’d like to see a roster set at 30, but only 25 dress for a game. Starting pitchers are not much use on their non pitching days. A 3rd catcher would be great as well. Thanks
Yariel Rodriguez certainly didn’t deserve a 1-8 win/loss record.
Anthony Santander would look great in a Jays uniform but he will be 30 next year. Is he an option for the Jays to go after?
If the Blue Jays want to be competitive next year which of these young players have a realistic chance of being on the roster? My top four would be Clement, Lukes, Horwitz and Wagner.
Enjoyed the podcast, thanks for answering my questions.
