Mom made salmon croquettes today. The house stinks of fish. fyi, I hate the taste and smell of fish so this is a sensory nightmare for me. She turned the AC on (I don’t think she closed the windows I opened…) and even with us both speaking air freshener, it now smells like floral/fruit-fish 🤢

Also, your onboarding manuals. Please let me create those. Sincerely from me because my team onboarding was atrocious.

Also I’d much rather do that than endless invoices (though I could also create audit processes for that too if needed 😅😅😅)

For me, it makes sense that these runs should be in place to ensure at least basic functionality of a team or project.

If anything, this should buy me points for my assessment 🤣🤣🤣 But for real, @ my job: please let me just work on updating and streamlining your processes. Y’all are clunky af 😅

And it’s funny because my department is so surprised that they didn’t think to do this before. Like, idk, I always made SOPs, manuals, and reference sheets when learning my job and made them available to my team. I work with and create processes to streamline work in a beneficial way.

I had a printed out cheat sheet for Docusign signatures for outgoing envelopes based on vendor. The font was too small & fuzzy from copies being made so I transcribed it all to an excel sheet. Now it’s being used to streamline who signs what for our department & another department.

Today we had a snow day. Tomorrow, my mom’s job called for another snow day. My job called for a 2-hour delay. My front porch/sidewalk and driveway are still covered in ice. Unless my job decides to either push back the delay more or close again, I’ll have to use my PTO to stay home. 🙃🫠
