Hey #esa2024 birders- who wants to go birding* tomorrow morning?

*(Disclaimer- I have exactly 2% knowledge of Australian birds, but hopefully some of you are >me)

Congrats to the team who successfully trained reptilian predators (freshwater crocs & monitor lizards) in the NT to avoid deadly cane toads ahead of their invasion front. Doing so with flexibility and a ‘good dose of stubborn optimism.’ Well deserved winners of the #ESAus2024 Impact Award!
