How a Janet Jackson song crashed laptops for 9 years In 2001, Microsoft support employees made a shocking discovery: Janet Jackson's hit, "Rhythm Nation," could cause laptops to crash. New details have now come to light showing what was done about it.

God I love stories like this.

'Rhythm Nation' used to crash hard drives.

I remember he allegedly wanted to be a gym coach when he was done playing. He definitely found a calling in the same realm

Double confirming, though Gritty needs to start some upper body exercises. He and every other mascot lost a tug of war to the birthday boy

Does anyone remember the video similar to this tweet where the dude looked like has trying to win a bet by doing a flip? He failed miserably on like a marble casino floor. The other guy’s reaction to seeing it was priceless

I can’t remember. Please remind me who those 2 were. Definitely not Sinister. We had way to much of them

It sounded bad as a consolation prize. Uncanny Xmen in Louisiana is very good tho. Art and story are top notch. They deal about Krakoa’s fall out. i highly recommend

Yea i hated the “everything dies” thing emotionally. But it did end well! I don’t like creeping death storylines. Krakoa obviously had it too. There was always gonna be an end. But man I liked living in it and miss it

Start of krakoa got me back into paying for new comics day of release again like mid 90’s. Swords of X kinda lost me. But it was all so good. The end of krakoa was always going to be depressing but yea. It lost so much steam. the last storyline wrapping it up was better than expected tho. RIP krakoa

NBC's gotta be thinking about breaking the glass and replacing these two teams in the second half with the emergency back-ups, the reigning NFL champions The Philadelphia Eagles and a team made up of the casts of the first 50 seasons of Saturday Night Live.

The last thing @dhm.bsky.social sent me this past fall was video of a little league ump getting hit in the groin 3 times. This one’s for you Dan, thanks for always thinking of me.

Like every 6 months I look this up to see if any new games will use it. It would’ve been so cool in an Arkham game

The Eagles are clearly trying to get Devonta Smith the ball so he can get over 1,000 yards and is there any way they could just do this as their regular offense

@miketanier.bsky.social As an RU alum, former football season ticket holder, and someone who watched way too many CBS Jets games during my 4 years in New Brunswick, this is incredibly accurate. And depressingly true.

this game is an escort mission for the colts. they have to gain yardage in small chunks and wait for philip rivers to walk up to the line. every couple minutes he spits out some dialogue like "hurry – we have to reach the satellite uplink so we can deliver evidence of the ambassador's wrongdoing"
