Just finished this extremely well written novel based on a true life murder case in the 1920s. It was gripping, emotional and the research was perfectly balanced with the storytelling. Will definitely be seeking out #LittleDeaths for my next read.

@gralefrit.bsky.social You have to see these! A friend of mine has been collating a series of images entitled "Things my students have written turned into Philomena Cunk quotes" and they're just glorious.

I’ve just finished #Adrift by Will Dean, and MY GOD, he just gets better and better.

ADRIFT is an unbearably tense thriller, a crime waiting to happen - & a love letter to libraries.

It’s brilliant and painful and written with so much heart.

His best book yet. Out Feb 26.

Wow. Caroline Kennedy breaks her silence on RFK Jr in a message to Senators: ā€œWe grew up together. It’s no surprise that he keeps birds of prey as pets because Bobby himself is a predator. He enjoyed showing off by putting baby chickens & mice in a blender to feed to his hawks.ā€

Look at these. Aren’t they beautiful?? I’ve never seen Virginia Woolf laughing before. And these exquisite photos of her sister, Vanessa Bell.
