The best and the most ideal podcast to discuss this topic!! 👌🧠
Today marks the last day of all of my inpatient service in neurology residency. Until I start my epilepsy fellowship at Duke, I will focus on my research projects at UAB. I'm lucky to be given the opportunity to continue the research I love here. Exciting days ahead! 🧠
We are looking to hire a postdoc and a lab manager / research assistant for our human intracranial EEG lab in NY (hbmlab-nyc.com). DM or email me if you're interested to learn more!

We are seeking someone who can help advance our research on predicting cognitive/behavioral/emotional outcomes after neurosurgerical lesions in patients with epilepsy using multimodal neuroimaging data.
Ready for another round of Brain Chats?! Join us on March 14th at 11AM at Hoover Public Library for a discussion on “Using electrical stimulation to understand brain networks” presented by Dr. Rachel June Smith. The meeting is free, educational and open for anyone to attend! 📖
Every year on the second Monday of February people join together to acknowledge and highlight the problems faced by people with epilepsy, their families and care givers.

I've seen some similar projects, but IMO this seems to better capture some of the fine-grained detail

:( sad.
We're trying to honor the data as much as we can.
ripple researchers probably open this article with sweaty palms, because ripple detection with 77% false positives for standard processing sounds pretty bad... 😨
We have an interesting case of cardiac arrest brain death during intracranial EEG. Working on the last analysis, very interesting stuff. But we don't see this gamma surge.
Really cool stuff!
