The indictment of NY AG Leticia James is yet another dark day in our so-called Democracy.

Trump is targeting his political opposition, detaining & deporting US citizens and erasing our right to Free Speech.

Everyone needs to wake up, this shit is serious. We have to FIGHT 4 AMERICA!!

We're Not Done Yet - Fred Wellman for Missouri YouTube video by Wellman For MO

Here we are in another Republican government shutdown and my Rep is home doing photo ops instead of in D.C. trying to help working Americans. I didn't think I'd have to run to the trumpets again but I am. I'm running for Congress because I'm not done yet and neither are we. youtu.be/OSOAPMl_BSc?...

Only Trump could make someone else’s funeral/KKK rally, about himself. And yk what, I respect the unabashed narcissism. At least that’s one thing that he doesn’t hide!! Unlike the Epstein files…

If I were in Congress, I’d introduce the ā€œCharlie Kirk Gun Safety Actā€: universal background checks, safe storage regs, & sweeping gun safety measures that don’t infringe on the 2nd Amendment. But who cares about amendments now? Just look at Trump gutting the 1st & 14th…

Conservatives love to say it’s not guns, it’s ā€œmental health.ā€ They’re half-right: it’s both. But here’s the thing—radicalized right-wingers get weapons of war because capitalism makes them available. Until the GOP backs healthcare & mental health reform, I don’t want to hear it. IT’S THE GUNS.

So, why should you care? Political violence is never okay. Neither is gun violence. But this is a problem for Republicans to solve. The alleged shooter, Tyler Robinson, grew up in a conservative home w/ access to weapons of war. Like most mass shooters in 20 yrs: white men.

He wouldn’t have cried over his own death or demanded reform. He once said:

ā€œIt’s worth some gun deaths every year so we can have the 2nd Amendment.ā€

Closing thought: Kirk was a man who wouldn’t have lost sleep if I was shot in school or stoned in a hate crime. He might’ve celebrated it.

But if it’s not Fox or the Post, they cry ā€œfake news.ā€ Why trust facts when fiction works?

So, I made a 4-min Reel showing Kirk’s awful takes from the last 5 yrs. Hopefully some realize he’s not worth mourning. At least maybe it’ll shut up trolls in my comments going: ā€œSoUrCe? hE dIdNt SaY tHaT!ā€

YES, HE DID.

Jason S. Campbell on X: "Charlie Kirk: "I think empathy is a made up New Age term that does a lot of damage" https://t.co/KxyrCGvxW2" / X Charlie Kirk

That’s why I’m proud to be a Democrat: the party of empathy & love. Unlike Republicans. Unlike Kirk, who once said:

ā€œI can’t stand empathy… I think it’s a made up new age term that does harm.ā€

Humans are selfish. I am too. In an emergency, I’d focus on myself first.

Voting is no different—it takes real empathy to vote beyond your own issues.

That’s why I’ve unfollowed so many after seeing ā€œlive like Charlieā€ posts on their stories.

And I’m glad I’m not the only one confused. As a Queer, Latino & child of an Immigrant, Kirk’s hateful rhetoric hit me daily.

But for many classmates in East Granby, my small hometown of 5k, it didn’t. After all, they’re cis-het white middle class folks.

Charlie Kirk's Death Was Tragic; It Doesn't Change The Fact That He Was an EVIL MAN. & more revelations found from a deep-dive into the deeply concerning, far-right beliefs of the late Charlie Kirk

Since that Wednesday when my phone blew up with footage of Charlie Kirk being shot on a Utah campus — to now, when reporters, late-night hosts & working folks are being fired in the right-wing war on speech — I’ve been trying to get why people act like this man was the 2nd coming of Jesus?! (🧵)

Disney's ABC pulls 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' after FCC chair criticizes the host's Charlie Kirk comments The network confirmed it is "indefinitely" pulling the show.

This isn’t cancel culture – it’s state-sanctioned censorship. The President of the United States should know and respect that our First Amendment protects speech even if he doesn’t agree with it. If Jimmy Kimmel can be fired, you can be too.

almost daily I get comments from cognitively challenged Trump supporters telling me that I’m ā€˜too young to have an opinion’

I’m not ā€˜too young’ to get shot in school.

I’m not ā€˜too young’ to have my future stolen from me by politicans who are at least 3x my age

so yeah, I’m gonna have opinions

ABC just canceled Jimmy Kimmel for anti-Trump remarks. Paramount axed Colbert for the same.

People are losing jobs for eulogizing Charlie Kirk with his own words — the words of a bigot.

Independent journalism has never been more vital. We face threats daily, but truth depends on us.

Sam Altman is Elizabeth Holmes.

OpenAI is Theranos.

Their big lie is ā€œAGIā€.

We are witnessing what happens when Silicon Valley and investors run out of ideas yet desperately want to cling to wealth and power.

OpenAI will fail, Sam Altman will fall, and the AI industry will collapse behind them.

Donate to Vincent Dixie for Congress (TN-07) Show your support with a contribution.

If Democrats are serious about winning the House, they need to take races like this seriously. Vincent Dixie can win—and flipping TN-07 could be the upset no one saw coming. (7/7)

Tennessee’s 7th has been gerrymandered to protect Republicans—but with a fractured GOP and a strong Democratic message, this race is now in play. Dixie’s campaign is about common sense, working people, and changing a broken system. (6/7)

This is a chance to change the direction of politics in Tennessee,ā€ Dixie says. ā€œI think I’m the only one who can build the coalition it’ll take to win this seat.ā€ (5/7)

Dixie is a state lawmaker and Nashville native with deep roots in the community. He’s the only candidate talking about building a real coalition—reaching Black and brown voters in Nashville and rural voters across the district. (4/7)

ā€œI’m running because too many working families feel like no one in Washington has their back,ā€ Dixie says. ā€œI’m stepping up to make sure people who cook our meals, teach our kids, and care for our loved ones are really being taken care of.ā€ (3/7)

Dixie is running against Matt Van Epps, a Trump-aligned Republican who wants to take the district even further to the right. But if Democrats flip this seat, we’re one step closer to a majority in Congress. (2/7)
