I know it's not true, but it REALLY feels like the Mets are never going to win another baseball game again. Like, ever.

California bill would limit EV-charging access in affordable housing Legislation backed by developers would waive EV-charging requirements for new low-income housing projects, just as the state looks to build 1 million more…

California Democrats are really, really fumbling the affordability fight. Making it more expensive for lower-income families to get an EV when oil prices are going through the roof is incredibly dumb.

Multi-country hydrogen-based iron-ore-to-green-steel breakthrough in Namibia A green hydrogen breakthrough in Namibia is opening the way for decarbonised steel using iron-ore of considerably lower grade. In an electrically powered hydrogen rotary kiln, 80 t of Australian iron-...

The steel industry: Oh, there are so many complications with greening iron production - cost, not enough high-quality ore, we don’t know if the H2 will work, blah blah blah, it’s so hard.

Industrialized countries: Yes, we must delay our goals and policies.

Namibia: Stop whining, we got this.

Green steel is the way forward for Indiana, former steelworkers say Advocates warn that what’s left of the industry could be lost if companies choose to invest in dirty blast furnaces instead of modernizing with cleaner…

"Without investments in clean steel, Gary’s fortunes could fall further. The plant’s market niche — high-quality primary steel — is vulnerable to competition from the electric arc furnaces that make at least 60% of the country’s steel today."

It’s not a small factor for me, tbh. bay stars logo is ugly. I will say the Swallows logo is not great. Which kinda brings me back to the carp.

Swallows are high on the list. Kinda down to them, Hiroshima (nice to have a team without a corporate name), or Yokohama, which is a city I enjoyed visiting and liked the stadium.

Wow that is a name. I saw Anthony Kay pitch for the BayStars a few years ago, so was leaning BayStars. Hard to root for Bauer's old team though.

One of the best parts of being from Boston was getting to watch so many games on NESN with Don Orsillo & Jerry Remy announcing. This is art. 🍕⚾️🍺

For real. Honestly, I think I need like three years of production and sustained demand. Profit would be nice too. But damn, we need a win, and this is welcome news.

today is a sad day, with the news that Hampshire College -- founded as a modern-day utopian educational project with lofty ideals and its feet and pedagogical practice very much rooted in the real world, and animated by a rock-solid faith in student autonomy and freedom -- is closing its doors

Punchless Mets go down feebly once again in shutout against the Dodgers The Mets haven't scored a run in 20 innings after Monday night's 4-0 loss to the Dodgers in L.A.

Weird, I really thought Tommy Pham was going to fix everything.

Perhaps a more pressing question: what's it going to take for Sheehan to get back on track? How common are these velocity drops and is there a good track record of pitchers figuring it out in season?

Stuff happens - thanks for doing this.

Latz looks great in his relief role so far - anything you've seen that stands out, and thoughts on potential transition to rotation?
