Keir starmers entire argument is that he is essentially a moron that was not trusted with essential briefing about an important diplomatic position which I'll accept. I also don't think this person should be prime minister

The reason this crisis is rumbling on and will continue to do so is that Starmer can't say the basic truth, which is that he appointed Mandelson for services rendered and they thought his association with Epstein was a bonus.

On 7th May.

Vote for hope.

Vote for change.

Vote Green.

One Labour official who knows Starmer well said that while MeSweeney, a protégé of Mandelson's, wanted to send him to Washington, Starmer was never that close to him. "Keir didn't even really like Mandy, and suspended his judgment as he does so often," the person said. "At that point, the machine took it [Mandelson's appointment] as his intention and does what the British state does, which is bend the process to the signal it thinks is being broadcast from the principal."

Remember how we said Starmer was always just a bonnet ornament, and that the actual story was “Morgan wanted it, as Peter’s payoff for services rendered”, which is also the same story as “Peter cleared himself as suitable for the job”.

I know *why* the sensibles have to pretend Britain is ungovernable (neoliberalism is falling apart and we cannot admit it is fundamentally broken) but to pretend Starmer is anything other than criminally inept is just laughable.
