It does me, I'm a "offer to help outside of work" sort of person. So far folks seem very relieved to see me again, and expressed not wanting to bother me/make me stressed that 'work' was impinging on my health matters.

My thoughts are no better than most men: I appreciate spring because the warmer weather means the return of sundresses and skirts of similar fabric weight.

Please pause to consider the lengths you’re going to make excuses for a man, in order to argue with a non-man about their *opinion*— ask yourself why this is how you’re choosing to spend your time rather than educating said men.

This legislation removed barriers like literacy tests and poll taxes, finally guaranteeing full voting rights to African Americans, 45 years after the 19th Amendment. Still Black women continue to face disenfranchisement & voter suppression efforts, despite that historical legislation.

Did you know that while the 19th Amendment (1920) granted women the right to vote, Black women were effectively disenfranchised by voter suppression tactics until the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

🤷🏻 Hard disagree here. It’s been half a century, and the internet has been around for 2/3rds of it— there’s been plenty of time for someone who claims in their bio here to be fight on the left side to know some VERY basic stuff. It’s also just an issue of speaking/listening to women, like, at all.

I don’t understand how any man over, say, 40 who considers himself liberal/progressive/left can claim they didn’t know that. Does he ever speak to women? How about listening to them?
