Sheesh, when I was a teen, we had NO tech. All we had was a color tv, a wall-mounted phone with a dial, a hair dryer with a bonnet, an electric shaver that barely addressed my coarse leg hair, & a transistor radio that ran on batteries. NO answering machines, cellphones, cable tv, internet... 1960s.
