DM theme bar in Estonia. Don't know if it's still there.

I couldn't decide so here's two different countries.
I got mine a year ago, the previous ones I got before Covid and only replaced them last year because one of the arms fell off. Don't like having my eyes tested, it feels like that scene in Clockwork Orange where his eyes are clamped open. π΅βπ«
I think yours look quite stylish, I like glasses with the silver bits at each side next to the lenses, which mine also have.
I'm wearing glasses in most photos. What you don't want to see is a photo without glasses because I'll be squinting and it makes me look older.
Steak and ale pie
Can you tell what it is yet?
Sainsbury's always chuck something extra in my delivery and don't charge me for it. This week I got a multipack of wet wipes, not as exciting as your Weetabix.
The encore, not shown on the setlist. An absolute classic.

Amazing set from @themonochromeset.bsky.social. Ganesh Seshadri, a.k.a. Bid, is very enigmatic, with bassist Andy Warren (an original Ant) doing most of the talking. Tempted to ask Bid later for a photo/to sign the setlist but decided to respect the air of mystery he no doubt wants to retain.
@blackdoldrums.bsky.social sounding just as you would imagine from their name and their frightening array of pedals.
A couple of new ones in the set, they are currently writing the next album.
Is anyone else now singing this headline to the tune of Quo's first hit?
"Dog poo and flower pot men and you, all I ever see is them and you"
It's convenient if you're waitting for deliveries etc. or if I need to have dinner early to go to a gig in the evening.
I still do. The one good thing that came out of Covid. We have no obligation to go to the office at all but I try to once a week just for a walk/change of scenery. But sometimes I'm the only one there!
Happy 70th birthday, Justin Sullivan
Some of my collection with my jacket from the '90s in the middle. There have been a couple more albums since that photo was taken. #NewModelArmy
Happy Easter!
Just three from recent comeback album I Wonder When Theyβre Going To Destroy Your Face. The rest of the set was drawn from their 1990s work, including five from The Italian Flag - in my opinion THE greatest album of the '90s.
Linda still pretty sprightly despite a broken foot, but it did mean she had to forgo the customary onstage fight with Mick. They didn't leave the stage before the "encore" as it would have needed her to be carried down then back up the steps.
That's the gig of the year sorted, the rest of you can stop trying now. Fantastic to have @prolapseband.bsky.social back in Birmingham for the first time since 1999. (Although I have seen them elsewhere in between)
Good to see you again @derrymick.bsky.social and thanks for the setlist.
I had some "fries" once after a night out because there wasn't a proper chip shop nearby. I think that's the only time in my life I've eaten something from McDonald's.
Been watching this over the past three nights. Thanks whoever it was who suggested it, this is exactly my kind of viewing. I don't mean the violence. I enjoy things with a 1970s/80s working class setting. The clothes and interior decor in the first episode in particular are spot on.
Sent to me from heaven...
Yes, I would make it again.
Whore's pasta with fresh tuna, which I've just made for the first time.
Yes, from "puttana" which is Italian for prostitute. Apparently they cooked it in brothels so the mix of flavours would tempt in customers from the street.
It's called pasta puttanesca in Italian, from the word "puttana" which literally means prostitute. One explanation of the name is they cooked it in brothels so the delicious smell would lure in customers from the street.
Whore's pasta with fresh tuna. Or "working girl's pasta" as Jamie Oliver politely calls it. I think mine looks pretty close to the one in the book.
@xxhi-its-lauraxx.bsky.social this is the recipe you were asking about
Very excited about this. One of my favourite humans in a local church.
