nah i think that's the real thing, you can tell because the arms are shaped and not just sticks

another possibility is that sword is a descendant of a long line of demigods, in which the demigod-ish features got wiped from the bloodline every few generations or so and that's why sword has none of those traits. either way i'm convinced venom is his uncle
