The door closed and locked, and a voice said through a speaker: "You have one hour in the escape room, starting now."
Janine watched her excited friends reading messages on walls, checking under cups, pulling ropes.
"Guys, what are you doing?" she said. "We've already escaped, from out there."
The spaceship floated in front of the man's window, flashing a sign in lights:
