His name is Alex Jeffrey Pretti. He was 37 years old.
He was a licensed nurse.
He was recording ICE and defending a female protester from their aggression.

And they executed him.

He was doing what many have been saying white men should be doing. He went outside to observe, he documented, he put his body on the line to protect another person and for this he was murdered by the gatekeepers of the fascist regime.

“At least another 5 shots are fired toward the man who is already incapacitated on the ground.”

Let that sink in. They publicly executed this observer, a nurse. They wanted him dead. Why? As a warning to others who might try to hold them accountable?

This morning he was murdered by ICE. Six ICE agents held him down and shot him at point blank range. Alex was a nurse and researcher at the VA.

Our thoughts are with his loved ones and we stand united in action calling for the abolishment of ICE.

Per his colleagues: The victim’s name was apparently Alex Pretti and he was an ICU nurse caring for severely injured veterans at the VA Hospital. He was acting as an observer, filming the raid. Any suggestion that he was there with violence on his mind is horrific gaslighting.
