this isn’t really a defense for the movie, I just really hate the lack of a cohesive style in SMW (and judging by the sprites in Mario maker, I could only imagine that those artists must have hated it too)

It’s funny seeing people dunk on the pixel art segment in the Mario movie because like. While it’s not that great, it’s important to remember that the actual super Mario world just Looks Kinda Bad in general

Toying with mapping was definitely fun, though honestly I feel like I’ll get a lot more mileage outta my character creation skills for now (plus it’s really nice to see others playing as them ingame)

I lowkey wish the dialogue system for ring racers wasn’t baked into the levels themselves, I’m trying to write some dialogue for Zek (ideally using his phone would make him talk about various characters and maps) but it might never see the light of day without extra LUA

I wanna try and be more active in online ring racers lobbies now that my pack is done, especially ones that host my Dynamix

hopefully it’ll find its way into more servers since it’s nice seeing other players using characters I made

Hope everyone’s been enjoying the modpack, I do really wanna get a lil fix patch out but I’m gonna be adding a few followers for everyone’s trouble (plus I’m working on a pokemon type icon follower set too)

Zek tends to be a bit stocky lately so I wanted to compensate by having him be able to balance on the tips of his footclaws a bit more like his Arceus half

it’s far from being a truly awful movie and some of the songs are okay or even catchy, but it’s got some of the most frustrating plot beats and the story resolves so poorly and more

as more time passes I’ve come to the conclusion that I simply did not like K-pop demon hunters

the way pokemon showdown was lowkey copying my homework

With Zek and Aggregorn as each other’s rivals it’s honestly a lot of fun to play GP as them, along with Zek having KORL and Scolipede as his rivals it’s fun to see the race populated largely with big characters

gonna release a hotfix soon with a few sprite and audio fixes but honestly I’ll probably take a break from seriously focusing on racers for a while

I have an idea for a second wave for dynamix but I’m not in a rush and wanna actually enjoy playing with the racers I created

Played on a ring racers server today and even tho I felt like I was struggling it was nice to see others were interested in playing the characters I released, I’m honestly hoping more people feel inclined to host my pack in their public servers once some time passes
