For maybe the first time ever, it’s less about the number on the scale in the indication that my body is actually healing, so I’m very happy about that. But I certainly understand the headspace that you are in. Been there many times. ❤️

Absolutely sobbing getting off the scale for a good reason for once. My body is actually starting to let go of some of the weight that I’ve been putting in so much work to get rid of for well over a year. I think I’m actually healing.

I’m so happy I did this and thankful that I could.

This move has changed my life so much and it’s been like two weeks. The whole rhythm of my life is better and easier. I can’t believe what a half mile change has done for me. Gym in my building. Above a grocery store. On the Main Street of my sweet little town. Nicer and newer space. More light.

Also, the cliches about setbacks and progress are true I fear. Progress doesn’t look like progress all the time. It looks like fear, frustration, sadness, hopelessness. None of that feels like you’re heading in the right direction, but it’s temporary if you devise a plan and stick to it.

Been almost a year of getting my body back and I’m actually, finally getting stronger rather than quite literally gasping for air. I’m proud of myself which is a nice feeling. I’m extremely thankful for my trainer and the village of support that has helped me come back to life.
