Thanks! There's often a gulf between theory and practice in my field so giving the translation between the two recognition makes a lot of sense.

Genuinely question that isn't meant to be snidey: how is "praxis" different from "practice"? It seems to be used a lot in the humanities and I'm beginning to read more about critical disability studies, but as a psychology background person I'm not sure of the nuances of meaning.

I went to change my snow tires to summer tires this afternoon...

And discovered I've got a raccoon nursery in my shed.

Please livepost it. And let your face fly free. I've recently completely lost my tolerance for the AI gaslighting and have been having a marvellous time asking people difficult questions.

That is A LOT of moving. I did a fair bit in my 20s and 30s and it was horrible, but I didn't have children, which is a whole extra layer of stress. Housing market is so broken. You'll find something, and you'll love it, but it shouldn't be this hard.

Oh I'm sorry. The system in this country is so broken and stressful. It's impossible. Sending hugs.

Or health secretary for that matter

I genuinely did not think a labour Home Secretary would make me even slightly as angry as the previous Tory ones

I did a second listen to MOAFB today and loved it, had A Thought, floated round my house feeling like a genius for the next few hours. Mark Watsoning is working very well

She's invoking the blob again. And is defending democracy by advocating for autocratic decision-making.

She's saying the economy tanking because of her budget is the Bank of England's fault for doing what it was allowed to do within the rules. She has literally said it wasn't her fault.

Just to say that this sounds like an exceptionally fun project! And high five to the English Language A-level. Mine was the reason I do what I do today

It is quite funny listening to Liz Truss on the radio talking about the 6 minutes she spent as prime minister. She's lost that weird deep voice she used to do

Jose argues that his situation exposes structural gaps in the university’s scholarship agreements rather than isolated failures. He says there appears to be no clear framework governing how funding bodies assess academic performance when universities have already conducted formal reviews. Nor, he argues, is there transparency in how disputes between universities and external sponsors are handled when students are caught in the middle. SBBS, he says, informed him that it does not maintain direct communication channels with IPN. Meanwhile, he says IPN indicated that information about his performance had been relayed by the university, though he has not been shown the specific basis for that claim.

Yep. Big gaps in IT literacy from both younger and older people. Not sure about the curriculum. Maybe you and I were in a sweet spot where it got taught? Although I'm about 10 years older than you

It’s such hypocrisy. And it’s just bullying. I would though like to commend your use of the phrase “total frother"

I feel I must acknowledge that that’s given me autistic thrills. We should meet up one day and show each other our filing systems. My dropbox is second-to-none.
