On 10 April 1998, the Belfast/Good Friday Agreement was signed, a major development in the Northern Ireland peace process. One of the crucial figures in the agreement was Secretary of State for Northern Ireland Mo Mowlam.
Read Dr Emma Peplow's article for more on Mowlam's impact.
I’m really sorry to hear this, Martin. So sad for all of you.

Screenshot of an Instagram video capturing pope Leo with his mouth open in astonishment
Pop Leo asked if he should put on gloves to turn pages in the gorgeous Renaissance Bible and the librarian explained why it’s better to do so with bare hands. Glorious reaction.

Obviously I would have loved Ireland to win the Six Nations, but I’m *so* pleased France beat England.
I love that Fabien Galthié took the French rugby team to the ballet (Romeo and Juliet) to help them move on from their loss to Scotland.
Triple Crown winners 🎉🎉
I spent two hours today writing around 1500 words of recommendation for someone brilliant. I could have outsourced this to AI but it would have meant nothing.

I know we’ve had a whole two days of early spring sunshine, but I was not expecting the ice cream van to arrive outside this evening! And there was a queue as well.
Congratulations - that’s brilliant news!
Loved the Design Museum - gorgeous garden cafe too.
