Yo, my text-to-speech app flagged a scene from THE BODIES WE SHARE (my MS) as enabling the sexual exploitation of minors.
Guess what the scene was?
Two adult women talking about the awesome gay sex they just had.
If I didn't know better, this'd look a fuck ton like homophobia & misogyny to me..
It's just a sports ban.
It's just a bathroom ban.
It's just a healthcare for kids ban.
It's just a military service ban.
It's just a federal jobs ban.
It's just a university housing ban.
It's just a passport & visa ban.
It's just one Constitutional right.
It's just your status as free citizens.
Oh for fuck's sake..

Yes, all my books will be banned in Florida, but that's not because my politics are radical, it's because theirs are.
So, if you feel like your job is to discourage politics in art, I suggest you go yell at them, while I go on writing gay shit.

Writing is a form of resistance.
