There are benefits to filing whe. You make so little such as automatically qualifying for education benefits(pell grant) snap, ebt and low income housing support. Plus most anything that you paid into federal taxes comes back as a tax return.

Not financial advice legaly speaking. The standard deduction, single no dependants for 2024 is $14600 while max roth IRA contributions is $7000. So technically someone wouldn't have to report to be able to put $7k in a index fun in a roth IRA or something similar.
