I want to be a better person so that my friends have a good friend in me, but i have been trying to be a better person for my entire life and it has never and will probably never be enough, and im just supposed to live with that and hope I don’t ruin my own life about it i guess LOL
The effort that people invest in me will never be compensated more than it could be by any other person they could choose to spend their time with . This thought veers very close to self sabotagey territory but it’s hard to maintain the “self improvement” mentality for years on end
How do i cope with the constant feeling that i am just an inherently bad and wrong person and all of my friends suffer for being close to me
