Happy Earth Day! 🌎 🌍 🌏
To mark this special day, we’re tuning in to Sen, the world’s first continuous 4K video livestream from space.
Sen’s cameras are hosted on our Columbus module of the ISS, with data delivered via the Airbus platform.
Watch Earth from above, just like an astronaut

On the other hand, I guess they did ultimately get Al Capone on tax avoidance.
If the US justice system is so weak that it can't charge him with raping children, then what's the likelihood it will charge him with insider trading? #FailedState
Fractures Emerge Between GOP’s Pro-Pedophilia, Extremely Pro-Pedophilia Wings
Tip of the iceberg. The case was *closed* by the NSW DCJ because its staff are neither sufficiently trained, equipped, or supported to investigate reports of child neglect and abuse. This is a massive and inexcusiable failure of government causing ongoing harm to thousands of vulnerable children.
Public 👏 private 👏 partnerships 👏 do 👏 not 👏 work 👏
CBR could’ve poured that money into expanding public health services, training and employing more and better specialists and carers, and making disability care higher quality, more flexible, and more accessible. Instead we got the NDIS shitshow.
Aotearoa has come under fire at the United Nations this week, with advocates calling out the New Zealand Government for what they describe as an erosion of Indigenous rights.
Yes, that is a Black kid. Yes, those are White soldiers.
In case anybody remembers what South Africa looked like before 1994.
Belgium announces that it will request at least a partial suspension of the EU-Israel association agreement. Spain, Ireland, and Slovenia have already done so.
The fact that this hasn't been done yet is a point of outrage and shame.
What a surprise. Hydrogen as fuel, of whatever 'colour', is a non-starter, unless happen to be into rocketry. This was clear from the start, which leaves us wondering, how did this farce come about ...way back to the 'hydrogen economy' BS last century.
My guess: More fossil industry disinformation.

After Netanyahu's office claimed that Peter Magyar had invited him to visit Hungary, the PM-elected says that he will enforce all ICC arrest warrants once the country re-enters the Rome Statute.
[Hungary will] "have a legal obligation to enforce the ICC rulings and I'm sure [Netanyahu] knows this".
Konrad Benjamin nails the root of the problem: to stop large industries from ripping us all off, politicians need to stop “going to work in the industries that they literally wrote the rules for”🔥
Rules that as Dr Denniss points out, see gas co’s “pay more in PR than PRRT”💥
The IMF is worried the energy crisis could lead to a 'wage-price spiral'
But no mention of a profit-price spiral... 🤔
Even though last time war made gas prices spike, the IMF itself said HALF of Europe's inflation was due to PROFITS

Israel has killed more than 700 people in Gaza since last year's US-brokered 'ceasefire'

Same as it ever was.
UNICEF is outraged by the killing of two drivers of trucks contracted by UNICEF to provide clean water to families in the Gaza Strip. The victims were killed by Israeli fire in an incident that took place early this morning at the Mansoura water filling point in northern Gaza. UNICEF extends our condolences to the families of the men killed.
UNICEF just needs to release the hostages
It’s an international network.
A correlation at least:
Dr Richard Denniss dismantles the gas industry’s favorite threat.
If taxes kill investment, why is the gas industry rushing to Norway to pay 78%? 🙄
“They are playing us for fools.” 🔥
Nationals’ Susan McDonald has no rebuttal & scrambles to change the subject. #auspol
Josh: [looking at phone] Wow, the bass player of Nirvana is a "law-n-order" reactionary centrist now? Dina: Oh, you didn't know that? Dude hates homeless people Josh: I guess grunge really is dead, huh Dina: Meanwhile the king of soft dad rock Dave Matthews is out there loudly opposing ICE and the genocide in Gaza [Josh is staring blankly into space] Lady:...Josh? [Josh is making complex mental calculations, an imaginary load bar says 'RECALIBRATING MUSIC OPINIONS"]

pretty mytho-poetic that President Deals felt compelled to start a war with probably the only entity that would definitely deny him a deal, and now it's the main deal he needs to make to keep everything from falling apart for him
“The Trump administration on Monday is set to take its first steps toward returning more than $166 billion collected from tariffs that were struck down in February. Just over a year after imposing many of the duties, the government is expected to begin accepting requests for refunds”
UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese described the Israeli occupation army as “the most degenerate army on earth,” stating that its practices have crossed all red lines and violated international law.

Once in a while in politics, somebody has a bloody good idea. It’s in that category I’d file last week’s SNP manifesto proposal to use statutory public health powers to cap the price of selected foodstuffs in supermarkets, writes Tommy Sheppard ✍️
