Many things wrong with this picture, but also why did you tell the AI to put him in heals

Hokay, got shadow rendering almost where I want it. Lots of dirty flagging- though I might add mobility flags next to further add some optimization potential. The eventual goal is the only update things in the shadow maps that actually moved- might take a more meshlet driven approach to this.
I found an old art of a funny roboghost
I think it's more about the fact that she just decided to U-turn on a lot of shit. While yes, this is quite entertaining, unless she starts saying she was wrong about her other attacks on literally every other group - there shouldn't be anything to forgive and forget here.
Bring your memory, we'll fuck your memory at Big Bird's Threading Hell
What this means is the next "big" thing is multi-view support and vertex amplification on Apple platforms. That means much faster shadow cascades, and single pass stereo when I get this on AR and VR headsets.
So the biggest bottleneck right now in Entropy's renderer is really just all of the occlusion dispatches on the GPU. As in, if you have a point light it does 6 distinct dispatches reusing a net sum of zero occlusion data between dispatches. So I guess now's probably a good time to work on that.
I'll thread your pool
This one brand was Steve Jobs' favorite water. *Gargles used bathwater*
Guys I think I threaded my renderer better
A comic of two foxes, one of whom is blue, the other is green. In this one, Blue and Green are sitting with their backs towards each other, looking into opposite directions. Blue looks exhausted and annoyed, while Green is frowning with angry thoughts. Green, thinking: I can't be expected to know what you're mad about unless you tell me. What could you even be mad about? If I ask your opinion and you don't tell me the truth, that's on you! Green still continues to think, but raises an eyebrow as Blue turns around to kiss his neck affectionately. Green, thinking: It's not my job to guess whether you're lying ab- Green, speaking out loud: Aren't you mad at me? Blue, suddenly not weary at all but deeply baffled, looks at Green in confusion, while Green looks just as bewildered. Blue: What on earth would I be mad at you for? Green: I have no idea!
I'm pretty sure I know what the bottleneck is - it's most likely the VSM rendering. At 49 shadow faces rendering into the VSM, that's gonna get pretty slow.
That moment when you finally reach the point of needing to do fine grained GPU profiling to find the bottleneck. Feels good.

Yeah, I think this is starting to look shippable.
Nah just regular salt
Damn, pretty torn on JD Vance's performance as VP. On one hand, he killed one of the better popes. On the other, he killed a widely criticized autocratic world leader's political career. Wild.
> Decides to start trying to be more healthy now that a lot of the depression is starting to fade away
> Cut booze out (mostly), says gonna start cutting down on salt
> Immediately starts dumping salt into their cup noodles
Oops.
Question does flour scattered on the floor with letters haphazardly written in icing count as cake
I guess with booze more or less taken off the list, next up on the "get healthy" list should probably be salt. I feel like I eat way too much of it.
See, you have these weird little guys called avali
Okay but what if gay cyborg birds
Whoa
Firefox mass transit
Nevermind. I got it to under a millisecond for 8 cameras (7 of those are "shadow" cameras for shadow casting). In a pretty brutal scene no less!
I am okay with this
This is how you're supposed to optimize ye? I managed to go from ~30-50ms per frame for Amazon Bistro Exterior to (for the mesh pipes themselves) ~3.8ms. There's additional overhead, but unrelated to Entropy's almost finished meshlet rendering pipe! This is on an Apple M2 with software emulation!
